I hope everyone who celebrated Thanksgiving had a lovely day! Andrew and I spent our holiday at my sister's house in Venice Beach––we are so full from the delicious food and wine we shared all day. We were really hoping to be able to take a weekend road trip but our schedules have been a whirlwind, and we never found the time to properly plan for it. But later this afternoon we're going to start our Christmas shopping on Abbot Kinney, so I'm excited to get that underway––I love walking Venice Beach when it's cold outside, and seeing the first round of holiday window displays.

I don't know about you, but just like my family and friends I buy a special thing or two for my animals around the holidays. Growing up, my mom would have stockings for our pets, and would stuff some catnip or a dog bone inside for Christmas morning. I've been an official cat lady since the 4th grade, so I never thought this was at all silly. As I'm sure you know by now, my cats are pretty spoiled and I always aim to find them high quality food and treats. I want them to live well, and for their little world to be happy and relaxed.

Tabby James makes fresh organic catnip that's healthy for our animals. Their packaging is clean and simple, so you can leave it out on your coffee table or kitchen counter and actually remember to use it. When I gave some to Rufus and Zooey they both went a little crazy! They were so happy to roll around in the catnip––they even forgot about our new dog sitting ten feet away from them, which is a really big deal around here! And as a pet owner, it makes me happy to know something so healthy for them is making their day a little brighter.
