Adjusting to a new skincare routine is trickier than I thought. It's tempting to skip out on the little extra time it takes before bed and after waking up for creams and serums, but I know I'll regret it later if I don't start now. Plus, I'm sure in a month or two, it'll be like second nature for me.
There's a lot of skincare out there, and it's as overwhelming as it is compelling. After a lot of reading, I stumbled upon these remedies from Pur Minerals and started incorporating them into my twice-a-day bathroom routine. They nourish and tone; and for an added bonus, they help against a little thing called aging.
• ZZ Cream: Made from watermelon, apple, and leaf and algae extract, this cream retains moisture and smoothes out aging lines. I personally have sensitive skin so it's hard for me to find the right night creams, but this moisturizer is gentle enough to apply consistently, once a night.
Tone Up: This serum is made from root, bark, flower extract and oat protein. It reduces puffiness, dark circles, and lines around the eye and after applying twice a day for a few weeks, I already feel my skin is way more hydrated.
M.M.C.: Made from radish root and white birch extract, this anti-aging moisturizer has been renewing my skin little by little. It works hard while I sleep at night for a healthier glow the next morning. It took a few weeks to see the difference but well worth the wait.
What's also great is that these products weren't tested on animals and are free from chemical dyes, so you can feel good about putting them on your skin.
